We developed a Chemists’ Own Winter Cold and Flu Campaign that included an unique, interactive ‘Symptom stand’ which provided Pharmacy customers with a basic suggestion of the type of medictaion they might require but the real strategy here was to direct customers towards asking for advice from the Pharmacist and their staff. The campaign focus was all about reminding customers that they come to the Pharmacy for great advice, support and products – unlike other stores like grocery.
The campaign was launched with a matching ‘Symptom Wheel’ on the cover of Retail Pharmacy, followed by a double-page inside spread. On the website home page, which we also refreshed, the Symptom wheel used as another touch-point. We used an online version to engage customers and visually tie the site to the instore experience.
Other elements included posters, cubes, counter units and other POS, wobblers, training materials for Pharmacy staff and more.
