Shriro, the owner of the premium oven brand, Blanco, asked NMG to develop print ad creative that focussed on the quality aspect of the german Blanco brand. Our strategy was to create one ad that spoke to ‘the entertainer’ and one that was aimed at people cooking for families. The ads ran in national lifestyle and women’s magazines, as well as architectural/building publications for trade. We developed the concept to our client’s brief and worked up the final ads including sourcing talent and locations and studio photography direction. All photography was done by the extremely talented Peter Tabor with most of the final retouching done by NMG.
We were also asked to develop on-oven POS (glass door sticker) for the launch of Blanco’s new 150cm free-standing oven. We worked with Peter and Blanco’s own chef to produce the dishes that would form the basis of the front of the sticker. All the food was shot on trays outside of the oven and extensively retouched into the final oven images. Ultimately, we created 4 stickers with 4 different food cooking options.
